Intentionality and Thoughtfulness

Grace is a word that I still struggle with till this day. It is a word that I richly offer to others, but it seems that it becomes very scarce and rare when I need it the most. I think it is a human experience to be harder on ourselves than on anyone else. We beat ourselves up when we do not meet our expectations or goals. This last week, I got really sick, and I did not have the energy or the time to write.

My husband has been challenging me to find beauty in the process of creating art. I never want this blog to be something that is forced or done mindlessly. I want time to ponder and marinate in what God is trying to teach me. Art, especially intentional and a good art, is a process that takes time. I desire to recommit to you with a commitment to provide you with intentional and thoughtful words of encouragement and inspiration. I am excited to apply what God has been teaching me with slowing down and choosing the good part of my day which is being still in His presence.

I know that intentionality stems from thoughtfulness, but in order to exhibit thoughtfulness it takes being intentional. I encourage you today to slow down to receive the grace and to move forward.

I am looking forward to being more intentional with what I write. Receive the grace in whatever that you feel like you missed the mark in. God's love and grace is already there.
