Coffee with the Unapologetic Person

You don’t need permission to be yourself, but here is your permission, rite of passage, if your soul needs it:

I have the permission to love myself and who I am in this moment.

I am allowed to live at a place where I am “unapologetically” myself, the power that comes from being myself, raw, unfiltered, un-fabricated.

When I choose to “apologetically” be, I begin to walk on egg shells of other people’s coat-tails, other people’s adventures and dreams being less self-aware and centered and being more self-conscious about what others think about me and what other people are doing and accomplishing.

When I choose to “apologetically” be, I begin to fabricate stories that people only tolerate me and not celebrate who I am.

I begin to entertain the story that people talk about me behind their backs, and these stories don’t serve me.

These stories only make me more “apologetic” about my way of being, being swayed to rely on the lifeline of “I’m sorry”, where I am constantly apologizing for simply existing and taking space.

Today, this moment, I choose to be “unapologetically” myself where my existence and the space I occupy is no longer attached to “I’m sorry”.

Pure humility will no longer be fabricated to look like timidity.

Fearless love will no longer be fabricated to look like safe and superficial human interactions.

Today, I am unapologetically myself in my existence and the space I occupy.

I will “be” in my entirety today and this week.
