Coffee with Staying Alive

From glory to glory, from fading to fading, from the new to new, from old to old, from change to change, life keeps moving, evolving, transforming.

This moment was different than yesterday, and tomorrow will be different than today.

Every moment we are shifting, changing, and growing, becoming a new person.

Why do we self-sabotage and relinquish grace? The person that missed the mark a minute ago can be an entirely different person right now.

Believe that the small nuanced pivot or gentle reposition of the heart towards goodness is enough.

You were good and beloved the moment you took up space in this universe.

Choose surrender instead of sabotage. Choose grace over giving up.

Every single second of our lives, we are learning, re-learning, and unlearning how to bring greater meaning to our very existence, changing from glory to glory, so please don’t self-sabotage and relinquish grace for someone who may not even be you anymore.

You are worth to be here, to stay alive, and be present for the person that you are becoming.

Stay alive for your other selves. The people you’ll become. You’re more than a bad week, or month, or Christmas. You are a future of multifarious possibility. You are another self at a point in future time, looking back in gratitude that this lost and former held on. Stay.
